As of today, client’s sustainable preferences must be included in the MiFID suitability process. To help you comply with this new requirement, the KBC Group wealth-tech everyoneinvested has developed a new sustainability module for its Profiler solution.
everyoneinvested is pleased to announce that it has obtained an ISAE 3402* Type I certification for this module from Deloitte, an independent external party.
The ISAE 3402 Type I certification entails that the sustainability module has been suitably designed to ensure that the sustainability preferences of clients and prospects are collected in accordance with the applicable legislation and the associated draft supervisory guidance of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
Sustainability profiling
“This certification shows that we master, as of day one of the application of the new regulation, the sustainability preferences requirements and can help financial institutions ensure the proper and performing sustainability profiling of their clients,” says Gosia Fortuna, solutions manager.
Boost ESG investment strategy
“To meet today’s deadline, many financial institutions have taken shortcuts,” argues Laurent Lamblin, concept manager. “They will redirect clients from a digital environment to branches, helpdesks, or worse, resort to sorry-we-can’t-service-you-flows. ISAE 3402 (International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3402) is an international standard published by the IAASB (International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board), applicable from June 2011, involving the commitment of the certified entity’s management.
